The Optimus Maximum keyboard from Art. Lebedev Studio has one miniature screen in each key, showing exactly what it is… It usually displays small caps, but if you press “Shift”, all keys turn into big caps. If you’re using special applications like Photoshop, Half-life via the keyboard, you can display icons directly in your keyboard!
I hesitated before putting it in the “For sale” category, because of its price slightly below $1.700. The company producing it is also working on a touch version with no keys, making the layout and size of keys fully configurable, but it’s not ready yet.
